I logged into my blog for the first time in over a year..... and if you read my last post (in NOVEMBER of 2010) it is very apparent I have a problem with commitment and following through.....SIGH.... Thankfully it is a NEW YEAR!!! I realize we are nearly a week into 2012, but better late than never right?!?!?!?
I was at a meeting this week and the meeting icebreaker was list 5 goals you have for 2012. I apparently am an over achiever because I came up with 12 while many people were struggling with 1 or 2. So I figured what better way to tackle my commitment problem than to share my goals for 2012 with my blogging friends....all 2 of you :)
1. Keep the house clean
2. Exercise 5 days a week
3. Eat healthy
4. Volunteer more
5. Finish my degree
6. Cook more, eat out less
7. Hug someone everyday (not including kids and husband)
8. Be friendlier
9. Read something other than a magazine
10. Be more paitent
11. Spend sometime outside everyday
12. Appreciate what we have instead of focusing on what others have
There you have it my 12 goals for 2012..... that is a daunting list.

Sunday not so funday
I lack commitment. I can commit to nothing.... well aside from my husband. That is a long running joke, marriage has been the only thing that I've been able to stay committed to. I can not stick with chores or routines, diets or exercise routines, blogging.....I can not stick with anything. What is my problem? Is it a fear of failure?
I have no idea but I need to commit to something...I'd like to commit to lose weight or at least be healthy and fit. I have about 6 months left of this deployment and I'd really like to lose weight to look 1/2 way decent for homecoming.
Anyways I'm feeling a bit under the weather and I have a mound of homework soooooooo I better get to it. I really need to keep up with this blog better ;)

Yet again...it's been awhile
So it's been awhile again.... I guess I spend too much time on facebook to ever remember to update this blog. Now that the hubby has left for an undetermined amount of time to an undetermined location I am really going to try to make an effort to update this thing on a more regular basis.
All I have for today is:
24 hours down!
School starts in a matter of days....what am I going to do with no kids in the house?!?!?!?
Now that I am taking classes to get my degree I relaize that I do not for one minute miss homework
That is all... I've got a very long to do list that I plan on tackling today :)

early mornings make for a very grumpy girl
Dropped the hubby off at work today since he's going to be on a work up for the next several weeks. I enjoy the opportunity to savor those last few moments with him before he leaves. But when I have to drag two snotty kids in their pj's and me lookin' a hot mess, only to be told there is a possibility he won't leave today....ERRRR it makes my blood boil! Maybe I am being petty in fact I'm sure I am but it was too ealry for me to be chipper.
Anyways since he will be gone for the better part of a month, I am using this as a time to field day my house. (field day isn't just for Marines on Thursdays) I am 100%committed to cleaning the heck outta my house and throwing some junk away!!!!! I'll have to check in every once and awhile to make sure ya'll know I didn't get carried away by dust bunnies ;) I am going to clean based on an article I read on yahoo titled how to organize your life in 1 week. Quick, easy and to the point now that's my type of cleaning! I'm also going to develop a chore chart for the little ones....they both have birthdays coming up so Regan will be 5 and Colyn will be 8. I think that's plenty old enough for them to help clean up around the house.
Well I really think that is all for today.....I'm off to tackle dust bunnies, oh what a glamorous life I lead

June 2nd- day 2
First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Dad! He is 59 years old!!!
I really don't have much to write about today. It's kind of gloomy here so that has put me in a gloomy mood. The hubby is at work getting ready for another work up. Personally these work ups are harder than the actual deployment. Why don't we get extra money on work ups? Just a thought it'd be nice :) As for what my plans are today, well nothing! Isn't it nice to have the option to do nothing?!?!?!? Well since this is like pulling teeth today I'm going to run... I leave you with this

Day 1
So I am going to try something a little different then I've been doing. Instead of just random chitter chatter I really want to post things of importance on here. Important to me, you may think it's nonsense but I need a place to call my own and with 2 kids this is the only place I've found :) With a deployment on the horizon I really need an outlet and well to be honest, blogging is cheap!
This is day one and this is what I need to say

Hi.....again
Welcome back to my blog....ha ha ha I haven't posted in quite sometime. Mainly b/c life is well life. We've been busy....Guy with the MEU is really throwing a wrench on our plans for everything. Oh well Semper Gumby.... (fyi I hate that saying)
Regan just finished preschool and I cried like a baby, just as my husband predicted. I always said I wanted Colyn to be able to finish preschool before we got orders...then orders never came. So when Regan started school all I wanted was for her to be able to finish there too and well now she's done! Since there will be no more kids I guess we're ready for orders :) buuuut I'd like at least 1 year notice so I can adapt to change and it has to be somewhere that I can drive home to MD because well I don't fly oh and I'd also like to be close to fun things to do the kids, the beach loses it luster after a while....not very Semper Gumby of me huh?!?!?!? (still hate that saying)
Colyn has a few more weeks left of school. He is very ready for Summer Break!!!! I am happy to report his u7 soccer team. the stallions, got 2nd place!!! He was very upset that they lost the championship but compared to last year they did AWESOME!!!!! School is going good for him although we are battling end of year laziness :)
In family news we got a new puppy. Lucy is our french bulldog. We've had her 4 weeks and so far so good. She's a bit of a chewer but from what I hear it's a puppy thing. She's adorable and does lots of cute things. By far the cutest thing that gets everyone laughing is sometimes when you tell her no she barks. Almost as if she's backtalking...... it is hilarious :)
So all in all life is good and I'm happy to report we're all happy and healthy
